Rhonda, Gary M. and the Empeys returned to Provo from Disneyland on Monday evening, November 22. Gary W. flew from Houston to Salt Lake City late the following night, just as blizzard conditions moved from the area. Gary took the airport shuttle to Provo, moving ever so slowly down snow-packed I-15, dropping passengers off in communities along the way. Gary arrived at Grandpa Ron's house at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Grandson Alex Dyal's "Flat Travis" arrived in the Wednesday afternoon mail, just in time to spend Thanksgiving with Alex's extended family in Utah. Flat Travis appears in most photographs taken during Thanksgiving weekend. These photos are part of Flat Travis' daily journal. Flat Travis and his journal will be sent back to Alex in Canton, Michigan to complete a third-grade project.
Gary, Rhonda, Gary M. and Grandpa Millett enjoyed a relaxing Thanksgiving with the Empeys. Erin and Spencer prepared a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Thanks for your hospitality, Erin, Spencer and Maddie! Our fun continued throughout the weekend ... going to movies ... eating ... watching football ... eating ... shopping ... eating ... and just plain hanging out.
