GARY AND RHONDA VISIT THE EMPEYS FOR MARSHALL'S BLESSING: September 3-6, 2015

This is Grandpa Gary's first visit to see the Empeys since Hannah's blessing in January 2013.  At that time, Erin's family still lived in Provo.  Grandpa does his best to make up for lost time during three wonderful, but all-too-short, days in Vernal.  Gary M. also drives from Provo to Vernal for the long weekend.  We enjoy precious time together exploring many beautiful sites in and around Vernal.  How great to be outside without the oppressive summer heat of Central Texas!!!

We have a most wonderful visit, as you can see from the pictures below:

MARSHALL'S BLESSING DAY!

Marshall is given a name and a father's blessing at his home in Vernal on Sunday morning, September 6, 2015.  He is so calm and peaceful all morning, even during his bath and shampoo.  This serenity continues through a most beautiful blessing given to Marshall by his father, Spencer Empey.  Many of Erin's and Spencer's closest friends join us for this wonderful occasion.  The following pictures, taken the morning of Marshall's blessing, are posted in the order they were taken:

Last Picture of the Morning...Erin's Two Youngest Sweethearts  :-)

Sunday is a bittersweet morning, knowing we will soon say goodbye to our loved ones.  It's especially sad to leave Marshall, who will change so much before we see him again.  You have an adorable family, Erin!!!  We love each of you so much.  Thank you for always making us feel so loved and welcome.  We miss you like crazy today...
