Rhonda arrives in Provo on Sunday, September 4, 2011 for a nine-day visit with Ron, Gary M. and the Empeys. Gary flies to Utah the following Friday, just for Leah's blessing weekend.
Both Erin and Spencer are swamped with many responsibilities, but still manage to make time for fun with Rhonda and Gary. We spend Labor Day at Provo Beach Resort, then eat lunch at Shoots Chinese Cuisine at River Oaks Mall. Other highlights include a FHE stroll along the new nature trail around BYU's Old Temple Hill and Arboretum, as well as an afternoon at Gardner Village in West Jordan. After Grandpa Gary arrives, we spend the Saturday before Leah's blessing at the Utah State Fair -- enjoying junk food, attending the rodeo, going on midway rides, browsing exhibits ... Very deja vu!
