Kristen and her boys -- Kyle, Parker, Justin and Seth -- spend three weeks in Utah during July. They visit Grandpa Millett, Gary M. and the Empeys in Provo. Favorite activities include a day at Seven Peaks Water Park and Provo's July 4th Freedom Festival. They also spend time with Randy and Yvonne Buhler in Layton, but are back in Provo before Rhonda arrives in Utah on July 10th. From July 11-14, Kyle, Parker and Justin attend BYU baseball camp.
We all enjoy outside activities in the gorgeous Utah weather. (It is WAY TOO HOT to be outside during the record-breaking summer in Texas...) We take the kids to play at all the best area parks. We dine at favorite Provo eateries, including Brick Oven, Los Hermanos, Arctic Circle, Creamery on Ninth, etc. We enjoy an evening picnic at South Fork in Provo Canyon. Erin, who surpasses her due date on July 11, must stay fairly close to home, but Kristen and Rhonda take all the kids on a one-day excursion to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. It is so nice to be comfortable outside once again!
