CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S IN FRISCO, TEXAS: December 23, 2014 - January 2, 2015

Our daughter Kristen and her hubby Aaron generously host extra family members for Christmas and New Year's. Gary and Rhonda drive from College Station to Frisco on Monday evening, December 22nd. Gary M., Ron Millett and new wife Mona fly from Salt Lake City to DFW on Tuesday afternoon, December 23rd.  Despite working full time at Maas Middle School through Friday, December 19th, Kristen's home is immaculate, filled with beautiful decorations, homemade goodies and happy loved ones.

We drive from Frisco to downtown Dallas on Friday, December 26th, to see the city's two most-visited tourist sites -- the Texas School Book Depository and Pioneer Park, with its sculptures of 49 bronze steers and 3 trail riders, the largest bronze grouping of its kind in the world. Each steer is larger-than-life at six feet high.  The boys enjoy crossing the creek and climbing along the ridge above the waterfall.  Thankfully, some things never change!  :-)

Playing games is one of our favorite things to do with family over Christmas. The Buhlers receive three hilarious new games that provide much laughter and entertainment over several evenings. One of Ron's favorite holiday traditions is putting together puzzles. This year's jigsaw puzzle draws a crowd and turns into a four-generational project. We see three new releases -- Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb; The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies; and Penguins of Madagascar.

Many thanks to Kristen, Aaron and boys for including us in your holiday fun!  We had the greatest time!!  We are so grateful that Gary M. was able to be with us, too!!  We worried for awhile that his work schedule might prevent his coming.  We love each of you sooooo much and hope to see you again very soon!
