As Logan and Alex enjoyed the kids' play area at Great Lakes Crossing, Grandpa and Spencer searched for something else they could do. They actually made a great find -- $5.00 Wednesdays at Jeepers! Kids ride and play all day on Wednesdays for only $5.00 -- and this was Wednesday. We spent the remainder of the afternoon at Jeepers. At first, Logan was startled by the fast little roller coaster called "The Python Pit" but he soon came to love this ride. Jeepers has several other fun rides, including the "Yak Attack" and bumper cars, but the roller coaster was the most popular. Spencer earned record tickets shooting baskets and redeemed these for giant candy bars. We finally lured the kids from Jeepers with the promise of cookies and Icees at Mrs. Field's Cookies. This was a great, memorable day! The kids actually requested to stay at home the following day. On Thursday, June 25th, we did stay at home playing games and snacking most of the day. Once it had cooled off that evening, we ventured outside for a fun round of miniature golf. In spite of his ongoing back problems, Grandpa was the golf champion!
