While we enjoyed our two-night stay at the Sandestin Residence Inn (along the bay side of the island), we were very excited about staying at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Resort. This opportunity actually motivated Rhonda to make the trip.
We attended church at the Sandestin Branch, just a few miles from our hotel. Following church, we checked out of the Residence Inn, then drove across the street and checked into the Hilton. We were given an executive suite with a wrap-around balcony. Our suite had amazing views of both the pool and beach, where we could watch the sun rise each morning, then watch the sun set each evening!
We spent the remainder of Sunday exploring the resort.
