Weekend highlights include a morning at the McNay Art Museum, featuring the temporary Andy Warhol exhibit and a recently-discovered masterpiece by El Greco; a visit to the beautiful San Antonio temple; a matinee at a fun dinner theater where we watch "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" while eating burgers and chicken tenders; a movie marathon at the Quarry Theaters, and great meals at Tony Roma's and Mimi's. Gary planned a Monday morning hike through a nature preserve near our resort, but February's unpredictable weather turns foggy with persistent light showers. So instead of lingering longer, we "hit the trail" for College Station.
Gary, thanks for making this last gasp, my final fifties birthday, so wonderful!
