For the past year, Gary and Rhonda have been looking forward to spending the 2010 Christmas holiday with Kim, Tyler and family in Reynoldsburg, Ohio -- just outside Columbus. While she had spent time with Kim during a family cruise in May, it had been nearly a year since Rhonda had seen Tyler and the kids. Gary last saw Kim, Allison and Ethan during a business trip to the Midwest in late July -- but Tyler, Carter and Jacob were visiting Tyler's family in California at that time.
Ron Millett, Rhonda's father, flew from Salt Lake to Columbus on December 22nd. Late the following afternoon, Gary and Rhonda also landed in Columbus, drove a rental car to Reynoldsburg and checked into the Fairfield Inn. (This took awhile, as there was a problem with our reservation.) Gary and Rhonda couldn't wait to meet Kim's family and Ron at the nearby KFC for dinner. It's always great to get lots of hello hugs, then to visit over a no-fuss, no-muss meal!
