We enjoyed a wonderful visit with Erin and Maddie, who flew to Texas on Thursday, March 3. (Visits to College Station by our children have become all too rare in recent years.) Erin grabbed one final opportunity to fly alone with Maddie, as Baby #2 will join the Empey family in early July.
Erin and Maddie arrived from snowy Utah to find great outdoor weather in College Station. Maddie enjoyed playground hopping between several city parks. Of course, there was the mandatory kolache breakfast at Shipley's, plus lunches at Casa Ole and Genghis Grill. Fun activities included seeing Rango, bowling at Grand Station and spending an entire afternoon at the Houston Zoo.
We love you so much, Erin and Maddie. Thanks a million for coming to see us!
