Maddie, dressed in BYU's blue and white, cheered the Cougars to victory over Utah in a close game between the long-time interstate rivals on November 28, 2009. Max Hall threw a 25-yard touchdown pass in overtime to Andrew George to give No. 18 BYU a 26-23 win over 22nd-ranked Utah.
"I don't like Utah. In fact, I hate them. I hate everything about them. I hate their program, their fans. I hate everything," Hall said following the game. "It felt really good to send those guys home."
Maddie's favorite cheer: "Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o Cougars!!"
